Product Description

1. Overall Structure & Working Principle

The complete machine consists of an integrally welded base, 5 sets of frames, upper working roll, lower working rolls, left and right side rolls, independent hydraulic drive units, hydraulic lifting system, turnover unloading mechanism, hydraulic power station and CNC operation console.

1. The upper roll is axially fixed and only performs rotary motion.

2. The lower rolls lift vertically to clamp the plate head and complete pre-bending at both ends.

3. The two side rolls lift synchronously or individually along inclined guide rails to control the rolled arc radius.

4. The left-end turnover bearing block is equipped with an unloading cylinder. After rolling is completed, the upper roll is tipped over for direct cylinder discharging without plate extraction.

Working logic: All procedures including pre-bending of both plate ends, continuous rolling and circle calibration can be finished with one-time feeding without plate turning, leaving extremely small residual straight edges. It supports one-step forming of 8-meter ultra-long flat plates.

2. Core Advantages of Four-Wheel Drive

Conventional W12 four-roll bending machines only adopt single-drive for the upper roll or dual-drive for upper and lower rolls, which easily causes plate slipping and insufficient torque when processing large plates. This model adopts synchronous driving with independent hydraulic motors and planetary reducers for all four rolls:

1. Ultra-strong traction to eliminate slipping of large plates
8-meter-wide, 12mm-thick steel plates have large contact area yet insufficient friction. Four rolls synchronously output torque actively, driving plate feeding jointly. No slipping occurs during pre-bending and rolling, making it suitable for stainless steel, high-strength thin plates and long cylinder processing.

2. Sufficient forming torque enabling smaller minimum rolling diameter
Combined force from four rolls provides forming capacity. Smaller cylinder diameters can be rolled with the same plate thickness. The maximum pre-bending thickness reaches 10mm, and the straight edge at the end is ≤1.5 times the plate thickness, reducing subsequent groove machining workload.

3. Uniform stress and consistent roll surface wear
Synchronous rotation of four rolls ensures uniform stress across the full width of the plate, lowers bending deformation of 8-meter-long rolls, and greatly improves the roundness and straightness accuracy of cylinders along the full length.

4. Stable heavy-duty continuous operation
Driving load is distributed to reduce the load on each single motor, resulting in low temperature rise during long-term mass production. It fits continuous production conditions for wind power equipment and storage tanks.

3. Main Technical Specifications 

1. Processing capacity: Maximum plate thickness 12mm, maximum plate width 8000mm, maximum pre-bending thickness 10mm; applicable materials: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum plate, low-alloy steel plate

2. Working roll material: 42CrMo forged steel, quenched and tempered plus medium-frequency quenching (HRC45–52), precision ground and polished to prevent plate scratching

3. Drive configuration: Independent high-speed hydraulic motor and planetary reducer equipped for each of upper, lower, left and right rolls

4. Plate rolling speed: 4 m/min

5. Lifting system: Double-acting heavy-duty cylinders for lower rolls and two side rolls with synchronous closed-loop hydraulic control

6. Unloading method: Hydraulic turnover tipping mechanism with safety interlock; the machine locks and cannot operate after turnover

7. Control system: PLC numerical control + touch screen, capable of storing multiple sets of rolling parameters and automatically calculating side roll travel

8. Frame: Thick-plate box-type welded structure with overall stress relief annealing, offering sufficient rigidity for 8-meter-long working conditions and low deformation tendency
